It may sound cliché to say the common term “Wow time flies”, but as we have reached the end of April, time really seems like it has flow by. That said, I would like to welcome you to the first edition in 2023 of the SAMWUMED Imbizo magazine. We are at a pinnacle point as a Scheme where we are working tirelessly to maintain our credibility and to sustain the Scheme to be the most attractive and competitive one within the Local Government space.
Already our communication platforms have been bolstered to increase our engagements with all of our Stakeholders. This includes this publication where we want it to reach as many of our stakeholders as possible. We believe the news updates and educational material that is published in the Imbizo, is of utmost importance to our Members, Service Providers, HR Partners and Business partners.
Amongst other improved communication platforms is of course our interactive and dynamic website where I am certain many of you utilise as a quick means to confirm member benefits and submit general inquiries to. This is over and above, the revitalised Mobile App that our members now have full access to and which can be downloaded on the Google Playstore, Huawei App Gallery and Apple App Store. The website chat functionality allows for voice call or written correspondence.
We also have some great and new developments currently underway in 2023, that will be launched for the 2024 Benefit year. We cannot wait to share these news with you.
