SA COVID-19 CASES INCREASE BY 2 430 & DEATHS INCREASE BY 48 OVERNIGHT

South Africa’s COVID-19 cases increased overnight by more than 2 000 to reach a national total of 55 421. The 48 new deaths overnight bring the total death toll to 1210.
 
Meanwhile, 998 400 tests have been conducted, whilst recoveries are 31 505.
