The Minister of Health Dr Zweli Mkhize reports that as of today, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in South Africa is 19 137. Deaths increased overnight by 30, bringing the total death toll to 369.
The Western Cape continues to be the epicentre of the virus in South Africa at 63,5%.
Other Provinces that are being closely monitored are the Eastern Cape and Gauteng, both of which account for about 12% respectively.
Meanwhile, to date 525 433 tests have been conducted.
