South Africa COVID-19 infection rate now 4 996 with 93 deaths

South Africa’s confirmed Covid-19 cases have increased to 4 996, from Monday’s 4 793. The country now has 93 deaths, an increase of three (3) since Monday.

Announcing the latest statistics, the Minister of Health Dr Zweli Mkhize said, the Western Cape has the highest number of infections with 1,870, followed by Gauteng with 1,377 and KwaZulu-Natal with 919.

The country now has 2,073 recoveries, Dr Mkhize added.
