SA CONTINUES TO RECORD NEW COVID-19 CASES AS WELL AS DEATHS

South African continues to register new COVID-19 deaths as well as new cases on a daily basis. Over the past 24 hours 1 863 new cases and 58 new deaths were recorded. To date, the total confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic are 719 714 and total deaths are 19 111.

Active cases are 51 949, an increase of 984 when compared to the 50 965 active cases of the last reporting cycle.
