NEW COVID-19 CASES SPIKE TO MORE THAN 4 000 IN THE PAST 24 HOURS

4 173 people tested positive for the Corona virus in South Africa in the past 24 hours, whilst 65 others died. The country now has a cumulative total of 796 472 cases and a total of 21 709 deaths.

Of the new deaths the Western Cape reported 30, Eastern Cape 4, Free State 15, Gauteng 4 and Kwa-Zulu Natal 12.
