If you suffer from constant back and neck problems, it may be time to learn more about the SAMWUMED Documentation Based Care (DBC) back and neck rehabilitation programme.
What is DBC?
This a rehabilitation and physiotherapy programme that helps people suffering from back and neck problems. The Scheme covers the full cost of the programme, so it does not affect members’ Day-to-Day benefits.
The treatment takes place at specific DBC Centres and is made up of up to 12 sessions over a 6-week period. It helps patients to amongst others to:
- Manage the severe neck and back pain
- Restore their motion
- Restore muscle co-ordination and movement control
- Improve the general condition
A member can contact the Member Contact Centre on 0860 002 103 if they experience chronic or ongoing back or neck pain. They can also be referred onto the programme by their doctor.
