9 126 more COVID-19 cases have been recorded in South Africa and 184 people have died in the past 24 hours. The latest statistics take the total confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 892 813 and total deaths to 24 011.
Of the 184 deaths, 103 took place in the Eastern Cape. The rest of the breakdown is as follows:
