195 people died from COVID-19 complications in the past 24 hours, whilst 1 102 others contracted the virus.
Whilst new cases of the virus dropped, deaths increased when compared to statistics of the past 48 hours.
In addition, the country’s active cases dropped to 53 660 from 55 587.
