An exciting – fixed term contract – position has become available in the Premiums Management Department at SAMWUMED Head Office in Cape Town. We invite suitably skilled applicants with drive and a passion for a challenging job to apply.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The membership clerk will be responsible for registration of new members, dependents and pensioners.
To ensure member’s status is correctly updated on the master file.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS WILL INCLUDE, but not be limited to:
- Processing of membership changes including registration of new Members/Dependents & Pensioners and terminations.
- Collating membership packs and documents.
- Membership Maintenance as well as attending to queries related to membership.
- Liaising and interacting with Broker and Sales & Service Consultants.
QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Minimum Matric/Senior Certificate or relevant NQF level 4 qualification.
- 2 – 3 years’ experience in the Healthcare or similar industry advantageous
- Accurate data capturing experience
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- MS Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) essential
