The role of a Business Analyst (IS) is to partner with internal and external stakeholders to determine the needs and recommend effective solutions to complex business problems within the organization and industry. You will analyze and interpret business needs and ensure that a high level of continuous improvement focus is embedded in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process.



  • Gather and interpret requirements from key stakeholders/customers in line with business analysis
  • Clearly map business processes and inter-system relationships and ensure that the model supports the business decision making
  • Effectively elicit documents, and validate comprehensive user stories linked to the prioritized business requirements/features.
  • Effective communication to ensure good understanding and facilitation of workshops to achieve specified
  • Work closely with IT Team to ensure that they understand the specifications and identify impacts and
  • Manage testing to ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported, and resolved



  • Senior Certificate (NQF4)
  • National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology (Software Development)
  • Minimum 5 years experience in the following (Testing or Business Systems Analysis):
    • Project Management Business Case Development and SDLC design
    • API, SQL, Azure DevOps, Agile DevOps, Web and Mobile based applications
    • Microservices Architecture, Security Design Principles, Software upgrades and changes
  • Experience within the Medical Aid environment will be advantageous.
